2011

The site specific artwork installed at Dhoby Ghaut, Singapore, consisted of two interconnected architectural structures built from recycled plastic waste. Through its perforated walls stilt house offered visitors a limited but elevated perspective on the surrounding cityscape. Based on a traditional local housing style but built from innovative and sustainable materials, stilt house aimed to provide a catalyst for public debate around climate change and our use of material resources.

Stilt house was commissioned for Hub to Hub, ArchiFest 2011, Singapore.
