Gap is a 360 cm high and 1000 cm long structure made from reclaimed timber. It is a 1:4 scale reproduction of the burnt out section of the Dunston Staiths, a landmark Scheduled Monument and Grade II listed industrial structure on the south bank of the River Tyne in Newcastle Gateshead.

Gap has been developed from the Jetty Project: Art & Sustainability, a collaborative research project led by Wolfgang Weileder.
